Every year, Zaporuka organizes Winners’ Camps for fifty children from all over Ukraine.
The experience of Western European countries proves that cancer survivors need psychological rehabilitation to minimize mental trauma from the disease. Winners’ Camp teaches children to live in the "new old world", properly communicate with the society, and return to life "before the disease".
In addition, Winner’s Camp helps to overcome the stereotype of childhood cancer fatality.
We want to give a positive example for those who are still struggling against the disease, to give them faith and strength to win over t the disease.
Cancer is not a death sentence. Our camp proves it.
