Psychological Support
In 2008, we were the first to consider psychological assistance to be the most important area of the charitable foundation that takes care of families with children who have cancer. A sign of its professionalism. Cancer treatment - from diagnosis to long and painful rehabilitation after difficult treatment - is a great stress for a person. Leveling its consequences is within the power of only specialists - oncopsychologists.
We are happy that today this approach is becoming the norm for our colleagues as well. We hope that we will no longer have to prove that professional psychological assistance is worth the most modern medical equipment.
Today, the psychological offices of "Zaporuka" work in the children's departments of the National Cancer Institute and the Institute of Neurosurgery in Kyiv, St. Nicholas Hospital and the Western Ukrainian Specialized Medical Center in Lviv.
When creating them, we wanted everyone who needs psychological support to feel at home. To be able to exhale everything that had accumulated, to release all emotions, without hiding anything, without pinching: pain, despair, resentment, anger, tears, weakness, grief. Only by letting go of all this, you can move on.
With the outbreak of a full-scale war, our psychologists also work with people in IDP status. In particular, in the hostels of Vinnitsa, where they temporarily live.
In addition to the offline format, Zaporuka psychologists also work online. In a fairly short time, we managed to launch a psychological support hotline for all those who suffered from the war. By calling 0800 4000 23, you can contact subscribers of all operators for free consultations.
Our psychological support team consists of 30 of the most experienced specialists in their field.

The audit of financial statements was successfully completed for the fourth time. We received a positive conclusion from the audit and consulting group CompassGroup Audit Company.
