Support for Medical Staff
We provide financial support and psychological assistance for the nurses of the National Institute of Cancer.
Despite the fact that the staff list of the National Institute of Cancer includes 31 nurses, only half of the vacancies are occupied. Thus, the workloadon one nurse exceeds the normby one and a half times. The situation is aggravated by low salary and difficult working conditions both from physical and psychological point of view. So it’s no wonder that as soon as nurses gain experience at the pediatric department they start looking for more favorable working conditions in a private clinic or in a laboratory.
People without experience shouldn’t work at the department because their mistakes can cost patients their lives.
That is why Zaporuka provides free accommodation for three nurses in the apartment donated to the Foundation.
