«Dacha» are family homes in Kyiv and Lviv where families with children undergoing long-term treatment in local medical facilities can stay free of charge.
For 17 years, Dacha has been helping families stay close to their child during treatment. Here, residents receive comprehensive support: a homely atmosphere, psychological assistance, and the opportunity to work with a physical therapist.
How can a family with a severely ill child get to the dacha«
Thanks to its experience and values, when Russia launched a full-scale invasion in 2022, Zaporuka Foundation joined forces with partners to support families from the affected communities. In the Novoyarichivska community in the Lviv region, we created a home for people who lost their homes to the war. About 80 people received their own comfortable housing in 30 separate apartments, And most importantly, they found support, community, and the opportunity to start over.
