Supporting children with cancer during the war

At the beginning of the war, together with our partners, we managed to bring the children under our care and their families to peaceful countries in just a few days and provide them with normal life and treatment. Currently, 100 families are under our patronage in Italian clinics.

We continue to provide them with not only psychological but also rehabilitation support online. While remote psychological assistance is commonplace for everyone, physical rehabilitation at a distance is not. But we tried - and we succeeded!

This format is no less effective than offline. In particular, because relatives are actively involved in the process. Proper teamwork yields good results. And we have an idea of how to share the successes of our wards to inspire others.

Despite the fact that treatment and accommodation in Europe are free of charge for our beneficiaries, they need regular financial assistance for daily expenses: travel, clothing, extra food, things needed for the child's education, etc. Therefore, the Foundation supports the families financially on a monthly basis.

Realizing the difficulties with communication in a foreign country due to lack of knowledge of the language, we organize Italian courses for children and their parents. And for better adaptation, we organize excursions around the city and the country.
