On June 14, the International Donor Day, the National Cancer Institute "Zaporuka" started a major re-equipment of the blood transfusion department.
Two modern refrigerators, 4 comfortable donor chairs and medical blood mixing scales to prevent clots (previously it was done manually) - all these basic things have been unpacked and are now being prepared for use.
The donor of the first stage of the revival of the outdated station was our friends from Germany, the Ukrainian association "Ukrainische Sprache und Kultur in Münster e.V.", which donated 11,000 euros for this good cause.
Freunde! Many thanks to you from all Ukrainians who are in desperate need of a lot of quality blood. The war is literally bleeding our country dry.
Thanks to you, blood donors will now feel more comfortable and their life-saving blood will finally be stored in decent conditions
