RELIEF is a large-scale humanitarian aid project

RELIEF is a large-scale humanitarian aid project of the Zaporuka Charitable Foundation, implemented in partnership with Soleterre and funded by the Italian Agency for Cooperation Development (AICS) in 2023.

The goal of the project is to provide comprehensive support to communities in Kyiv, Poltava, and Cherkasy oblasts in areas related to improving living conditions for Ukrainians who were forced to flee their homes and found refuge in these regions.

We focused on the basic needs of the families. We provided constant presence and support: from food packages, hygiene products and household chemicals to firewood and financial assistance.

To make the aid as effective as possible, we worked together with NGOs, volunteers and local authorities. As a matter of principle, we engaged only Ukrainian producers to support not only people but also the country's economy.

An important area of work within the project was to support primary healthcare and municipal institutions: hospitals, paramedic stations, mobile teams, sheltered housing, and nursing homes. We provided medicines, consumables, equipment, furniture, and construction materials - everything necessary for these institutions to operate stably and provide quality and timely care.

We did our best to ensure that Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes could stay in the country and feel that they were not alone.
