Returning Oleksiy's dream youth to him

Oleksiy could have been preparing to enter the university, but instead he is forced to fight for his life. Now the guy is in a coma. To return him to his dream youth, we need to raise 65,000 UAH for his examination and surgery.

Oleksiy could have been preparing to enter the university, but instead he is forced to fight for his life.

The Posukan family is from Sumy region. The border communities of the region are constantly under the threat of missile attacks from Russia. But even the security situation did not stop the boy's dream of entering the coveted Sumy State University.

My mother Olena works in chemical production. Mykhailo's father is currently unemployed, as the plant where he worked closed last fall. The two sons, Oleksii and Yurii, grew up active and friendly.

Trouble first knocked on the Posukan family's door in 2021. Then the eldest son Oleksii was hospitalized with an ischemic stroke. The treatment gave a positive result and the boy quickly returned to his normal life.

However, in the spring of 2024, the disease put him in a hospital bed again. Doctors diagnosed him with a serious illness - acute disseminated demyelination, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, and an autoimmune disease (vasculitis). The guy underwent a craniotomy due to brain swelling and is currently in a coma.

The parents are doing everything possible to save their son. Every day of treatment and support is very expensive. Oleksiy is waiting for further examination and another surgery.

The family has exhausted all possible supplies, they have been helped by relatives and friends, and now they are asking for our support to buy the antibiotic that the guy needs in large doses every day. To save Oleksiy's life, we need to raise 65,000 UAH. This amount will cover a 10-day course of antibiotics.

Each of your contributions is important. Help Oleksiy get back on his feet, enter his dream university and return to cycling and biathlon.
