Sofia is a long-awaited child in the family

Sofia Gaiduk is not yet a year old, and she has already undergone three surgeries.

The family of a seamstress and a physical education teacher from a small village in Volyn was looking forward to the birth of their daughter. The eldest son also dreamed of a sister and even chose a name for her - Sofia.

And now the long-awaited day came when the Haiduks welcomed a new addition to their family. It seemed that now the family would live to the fullest. But a few days after her birth, Sofia was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, which is characterized by excessive fluid accumulation in the cranial cavity.

For the family, hospital routines and painful procedures began. Every time after the operation, her mother cried with happiness when the girl opened her eyes and said: "Ta-ta".

The family bravely endured all the trials of treatment - they did all the necessary exercises and massages for their daughter. Thanks to such a caring attitude, Sophia learned to roll over, stand on her feet, and even started playing with her brother with small toys.

Despite trying to do everything on their own, the family needs support. They need UAH 41,600 to purchase the following bypass components: a valve and a reservoir.

Dear friends, let's not be indifferent - let's help Sofia undergo treatment so that she can continue to develop, smile at her family and play with her brother.
