Salvation for Denys
Seven-year-old Denys has lived almost his entire life with scaphocephaly, a type of craniosynostosis in which the skull bones fuse prematurely. As a result, the skull grows mainly in length, and the brain may lack the space for full development. Without timely treatment, this can lead to increased intracranial pressure and serious consequences for the child's health.
Recently, Denys got a chance for the necessary treatment. Neurosurgeons from France arrived at the Ohmatdyt National Children's Specialized Hospital, and together with Ukrainian doctors, they are helping children with craniosynostosis.
Denis needs special consumables for his treatment, the cost of which is 181,174 hryvnias.
Denys is growing up in a large family where the mother takes care of the children every day, and the father works to provide for the family. Following the son's prolonged treatment, it is difficult for the family to cope with such a large sum on their own.
Friends, let's help Denys get through this important stage of treatment. Every contribution will help the family pay for necessary materials and move forward toward the boy's recovery.
