To breathe is to live!
About 30 children are treated every month in the pediatric intensive care unit at the Institute of Neurosurgery. Unfortunately, the unit may have to suspend its work for seriously ill patients, as the ventilators need to be replaced with important parts. Two ventilators need to be urgently repaired. The cost of the repair is 60 thousand hryvnias.
Professional neurosurgeons perform unique brain surgeries, but without resuscitation, full recovery of young patients is impossible. A ventilator helps to breathe if a child is unable to do so on his or her own during treatment. Unfortunately, this often happens. That's why we want to ensure that the ventilators are repaired as soon as possible so that children receive proper treatment and recovery.
Dear friends, please join the collection! Help little patients from the Neurosurgery Institute to breathe!
