Six-year-old Tamerlan needs our help
Since birth, the boy has had complex diagnoses that require constant treatment and medical supervision. His childhood is filled with hospitals, surgeries, examinations, and rehabilitation.
Tamerlan is currently undergoing treatment at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lviv.
The boy has a brain tumor — polymyxoid astrocytoma. Due to the illness, he has undergone several complex surgeries, but the fight for his health continues.
One of the complications was hydrocephalus—the excessive accumulation of fluid in the brain, which increases intracranial pressure and worsens the child's well-being.
To reduce pressure and drain excess fluid, Tamerlan needs to have a cerebrospinal fluid shunt system installed. The cost of the system is 96,500 hryvnias.
For a family that has been paying for their son's treatment and rehabilitation for many years, this is a very large amount. The parents are no longer able to cope with such expenses on their own.
Friends, let's support Tamerlan! Our help now is an opportunity to ease the boy's condition and help him go through another important stage of treatment.
