Recently finished the project "Zaporuky" worth UAH 17,000,000 to restore a hostel in the village of Neslukhiv, Novoyarychiv community, Lviv region for internally displaced persons. The goal is to provide people not with shelter, but with a home in which they want to live again 🏡🧡
On November 20, 30 families - more than 100 people - celebrated their housewarming in their own apartments with a separate kitchen and bathroom. Each room is furnished and with household appliances. Near the house there is a playground.
Now in this modern house it is difficult to recognize an old, gray building, which, apparently, did not even dream that a second life was waiting for it. But this was the hope of its future residents, whose houses were destroyed by the war, jobs were taken away, friends and relatives were deprived. Our project gave them hope for a second breath in a new place.
It took less than 5 months from idea to implementation. It was important to be in time before the first frosts. From the outside (as often happens with our projects), the idea looked fantastic. But we managed, because 15 years later, together with our Italian partners Soleterre Onlus and Rosa Pristina, we learned to conquer the peaks 🙌
