A memorandum of cooperation was recently signed between Zaporuka, our partners from Soleterre Onlus, and the Lviv City Clinical Children's Hospital of St. Nicholas.
And consumables worth UAH 1 million already have been purchased. Another extremely important piece of equipment worth 1.5 million UAH is the BOWA ARC 400 – the new generation of electrosurgical devices for monopolar and bipolar electrosurgery with sealing technology. This modern device is used in neurosurgery. It allows you to stop bleeding quickly and accurately. This is especially important in operations on the brain and spinal cord in children.
This is just the beginning of great cooperation in several areas. In addition to providing medical equipment and medicines, evacuation of injured children, their further rehabilitation, and active cooperation with leading hospitals in Italy have been started.
The other day, Roberto Vrambila, a well-known Italian surgeon and head of the vulnology department (from the Latin vulnus - "wound") of the Zucchi Clinical Institute in Monza, visited Lviv. He is here to strengthen Ukrainian specialists, share his 50-year (!) experience in medicine, and together determine what the clinic needs most now.
