Campaign #MomIsThereForYou Raised More than 100,000 UAH for the New Dacha Construction

Together with the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, we organized for the second time a charity flashmob #mamaporuch, #momisthereforyou, dedicated to the Mother’s Day. This initiative goal is to congratulate mothers and help build the Center for Children Affected by Cancer Dacha, where children will live with their parents during treatment at the National Cancer Institute.

From April 25 th to May 10 th , hundreds of kind-hearted Ukrainians shared exciting stories about their moms on social networks with the hashtag #mamaporuch, #momisthereforyou, and involved their friends in the campaign. Those who supported the project with a charitable donation starting from 100 UAH participated in the draw winning prizes: from gift sets to a gold pendant with diamonds. All the funds raised are used to build the Dacha Center.

During the campaign, philanthropists raised more than 100,000 UAH for the construction, so that every kids’ moms could always be there for them and didn’t part with the dearest persons they have.
We launched the Dacha project 10 years so that kids could feel at home and be with their loved ones during the most difficult times of their fight against cancer.

Dacha is now in a rented house and can accommodate only six families, but, in reality, fifteen families need our support. The construction of the new Dacha Center is an opportunity for every family facing children’s oncology treatment to overcome cancer together and not to leave children to fight the
disease alone in the hospital.
