We continue to enhance regional children's hospitals with everything they need. We really want our children to have the opportunity to be treated at home - in Ukraine among their relatives.
Recently, the hospital in Khmelnytsky received from us and our partners from Soleterre Onlus a portable ultrasound machine, aspirators, and biopsy needles for almost one million UAH. The other day, the same hospital received another life-saving gift - a brand new ambulance, which will allow faster transportation of children in need.
In Dnipro, the Mechnikov Hospital received from us and our partners from Poland a brand new aspirator and a modern electrocoagulator for quick cessation of bleeding, with a total cost of about 400,000 UAH. According to what happy doctors say, "the device turned out to be better than we expected."
Funds for rescue gifts in Dnipro were provided by the Polish ceramic tile factory Cerrad. This was personally facilitated by manager Andrzej Krawczun. His company was one of the first to refuse to cooperate with the Russian Federation and actively supports Ukrainians by accepting them in their country and helping them financially. Thank you very much, polscy przyjaciele!
Thanks to our partners from Intersos and Porto Emergenza Associazione Volontaria, the Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital in Boyarka received a modern resuscitation vehicle. In peacetime, this multidisciplinary hospital served 310,000 children in the Kyiv region. Injured children from different parts of the country joined them today. Therefore, the resuscitation vehicle has become an "urgent need" for the medical institution, as Kateryna Savinova, the hospital's director, wrote in a request to our foundation.
Let's move forward! To victory!
