For the development of the bone marrow transplant department in the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center in Lviv, we spent almost 6 million UAH. Reconstruction of the department, training for doctors by the best colleagues in Okhmatdyt and in Italy, as well as necessary modern equipment – soon the department will greet the first patients.
The Dacha Center for Children Affected by Cancer hosted 113 children and 162 parents who came to the National Cancer Institute from the regions for treatment. We spent more than 5 million UAH on the construction and repairs of the new Center, which will start hosting children next year.
