The Zaporuka Charitable Foundation has launched a psychological assistance hotline for wounded Ukrainians and their families. You can get support on the line free of charge by calling: 0800 401 150.
A separate line was launched in response to wartime challenges. According to UNAlmost 20 thousand Ukrainian civilians have been injured during the full-scale war. This number is only growing every day. As a result of constant shelling and drone attacks, an entire generation of Ukrainians has already been traumatized, both physically and psychologically. To support people affected by the war, the charitable foundation "Pledge" initiated the creation of a separate hotline for Ukrainians with mine injuries. The line provides free assistance to 5 consultations from experienced professionals who have been helping Ukrainians overcome the devastating consequences of the war since the beginning of the full-scale war.
In addition to an acute stress reaction, a person with injuries may have difficulty adapting to changes and resuming their life activities. These and other queries can be addressed to the line to get professional help during treatment or during the rehabilitation period.
"Our foundation has been supporting Ukrainian families in times of crisis for 15 years. For more than 2 years we have been helping to overcome the challenges of war. Every day the number of people in need of proper medical and psychological assistance is growing. So we decided to launch a separate hotline for psychological support for wounded Ukrainians who suffered from shelling. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the safety of Ukrainians, but we can be there for those who need it"The president and founder of the foundation says "Zaporuka Natalia Onipko.
