Zaporuka Charitable «Foundation» organizes the ninth bicycle ride «I'm pedaling so they can live. The event will take place on June 7 in Lviv. Traditionally, the ambassador, singer Arsen Mirzoian, will join it.
This year's goal of the organizers is to raise 2 million hryvnias to purchase a modern ultrasound diagnostic system for young cancer patients at the Clinical Center of Pediatric Medicine in Lviv, in particular for children undergoing bone marrow transplantation. This equipment will allow doctors to diagnose a child's condition faster and more accurately at all stages of treatment, and therefore save children's lives.
By the way, over the years of the bike ride, together with partners, the foundation has been renovating departments of the Clinical Center of Pediatric Medicine, providing necessary equipment, and improving treatment conditions for children with cancer.
«For us, this bike ride is already a good tradition. Every year, it brings people together around children who are currently fighting illness. Each time, there are more of us. We will get on our bikes again so that they have a better chance of recovery, and so there is more childhood in their lives.», — notes Natalia Onipko, the founder of the Zaporuka Foundation.
