217 thousand hryvnias for necessary medications for children with oncological diseases

Chemotherapy is always a heavy burden on a child's body

That is why medications that help protect against possible complications are important during treatment.

Thanks to the support Waldensian Church of Italy Zaporuka Foundation has handed over to Center of Pediatric Medicine Uromitexan medication in the amount of 217,000 hryvnias. Uromitexan protects the urinary system by converting toxic chemotherapy breakdown products into harmless compounds that are rapidly excreted in the urine.

In this carousel, we want to introduce you to three patients of the Center of Pediatric Medicine and residents of the Lviv «Dacha.» For each of these stories, timely access to the necessary medications is an important part of treatment.
