Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the foundation "Zaporuka" evacuated abroad already 30 children with cancer and 100 members of their families. The young patients were admitted for treatment at the leading clinics in Europe, which became a reliable shelter and a chance for recovery.
This humanitarian mission was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of our partners:
Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Center
Konsulat Generalny RP we Lwowie
Clinic of Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation
Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Oncology/Hematology
Lviv Regional State Administration
Lviv Regional Council
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Teams Roman Kizima, Piotr Czauderna and the Deputy Minister of Health Iryna Mykychak
Thanks to the constant contact between Ukrainian doctors and the international oncology community, evacuation and treatment are ongoing.
War does not eliminate cancer. Thousands of children continue to need help and treatment.
You can support children with cancer by making a donation on the page "Projects" or via the link on the platform:
Together we will win - both the disease and the war.
