Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the rehabilitation of children affected by the fighting has become a priority for medical institutions. That is why the foundation "Zaporuka" initiated a project to upgrade rehabilitation departments in children's hospitals in Ukraine.
This is where the robotic exoskeleton SY-HR06Ewhich helps to restore motor functions of the hand in children. Thanks to modern technologies:
Children learn to draw, write, and make things again;
motivation to recover from injuries is growing;
the rehabilitation process is accelerated.
This is exoskeletal systemwhich is attached directly to the patient's arm. Thanks to the ultra-sensitive system:
Even minimal movement is recorded;
The device amplifies it and completes it;
the child sees full movement and gets a positive experience.
The device also has gaming elements:
"The child clenches his hand into a fist and the archer hits the target on the screen. It's a great motivator!" says physical therapist Serhiy Khuda.
From February 24 tens of thousands of children from the war zone were evacuated to safe regions. Many of them have:
mine-blast injuries,
limitation of mobility after surgery,
psychological barriers to physical activity.
SY-HR06E is not just a device, but a real chance to full restoration of childhood.
The Zaporuka Foundation plans to install similar equipment in other regional hospitals. The goal is to provide access to quality rehabilitation to all children in need.
