Reconstruction of housing for families from the occupied territories

У "Zaporuka" A new, extremely important idea has emerged and has already begun to be implemented. We believe that if a thought is exciting, breathtaking, and inspiring, you need to act immediately. Otherwise, it will disappear like a butterfly that did not wait.

Project idea

The goal is to restore the existing but unused housing stock to create comfortable living conditions for Ukrainians who have lost their homes to the war but want to stay in their country. One way is to renovate old dormitories and turn them into small, cozy apartments.

First step - Lviv region

Partners, donors, and local authorities in the Lviv region were the first to support the initiative. We signed a memorandum and started implementing the project in the Novoyarichivska community.

We plan to have it done by November 1:

• Reconstructing a building that has been idle for years

• Create 30 studio apartments for families from the temporarily occupied territories

• To equip a modern playground

Why is it important?

The war has taken away not only homes from many Ukrainians, but also a sense of security and future. We cannot bring back those we have lost. But we can give new hope to those who survived. Creating a home where you want to live again is the best gift you can give to a family that is starting from scratch.
