Purchased modern equipment for Kyiv Hospital No. 1

Thanks to a charitable contribution from Ukraine Charity, our foundation purchased modern sterilization equipment for Kyiv Hospital No. 1, a Gas ethylene oxide Sterilizer Axis 160 worth UAH 597,452.

The new method of ethylene oxide sterilization will allow for low-temperature treatment of not only medical equipment such as surgical devices, but also plastic items such as catheters and medical probes.

The outdated equipment with only high temperature treatment could no longer do its job - devices made of medical polymers were deformed after this procedure and became unusable.

From now on, not only will the quality of processing for the operating room, palliative care and other departments of the hospital, which admits 50 children daily, but also the shelf life of expensive components, which are in great demand in times of war, will increase
