More than 6000 children
They receive medical care for cancer, overcoming this challenge even during the war. Cancer does not stop in front of missiles or shelling.
About 600 kids
They are being treated at the Western Ukrainian Children's Medical Center. They are depicted in illustrations based on real stories of recovery.
500 young patients
They receive monthly outpatient counseling and treatment at the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Center in Lviv.

"Giving Tuesday with the Zaporuka Foundation

On December 3, the world celebrates Giving Tuesday, an international day of good deeds when thousands of people unite around a common goal: to give support to those who need it most.

This year, the Zaporuka Foundation continues its important tradition by organizing the Kids to Kids campaign, which gives schoolchildren from all over Ukraine the opportunity to support their peers who are fighting complex diseases and become true ambassadors of good deeds.

"Children to children": good deeds begin in childhood

Good deeds have no boundaries. The Children to Children campaign brings together schoolchildren who support their peers in treatment. Letters, gifts, and contributions to the Courage Chest bring joy to young patients. Fill out the form by November 26, 2024, to create an unforgettable day on December 3!

What activities should be organized for Giving Tuesday?

Goodness has no boundaries, and its forms are many. Schools can choose their own format for Giving Tuesday (December 3). Ideas from us:
School fair
Along with creative crafts or goodies made by students and parents.
A lesson in kindness
The opportunity to write letters of support or create drawings for young patients to show their concern.
Charity concert or sporting event
An activity that unites students, teachers, and parents around a common goal, creating an atmosphere of mutual support and kindness. Together, they can implement important initiatives that create a sense of community and make a difference in the lives of others.

How do I confirm my participation in the Kids to Kids campaign?

✅ Fill out the application form by November 26, 2024, and our coordinators will contact you.

✅ Carry out the chosen charitable activity on December 3 or the day before.

✅ Send us a photo or video of your activities, as well as a screenshot of your donation, if you have made a fundraiser, to this email: savchenko@zaporuka.org.ua

was supported in 2024. We purchased modern equipment, medicines and supplies, and implemented large-scale reconstructions of departments in 3 hospitals.

received assistance in the treatment of serious illnesses and rehabilitation. Of these, 173 young patients received targeted assistance.
Improving rehabilitation
We continue to improve rehabilitation for children with cancer, as well as for patients with mine-blast injuries.

provided to children and their families by the Foundation's psychologists in children's oncology departments and at Dacha.
