Together for Nikopol: helping families and doctors in the frontline city
Every day Nikopol is shelled. But despite this, life in the city does not stop: children are born, doctors work, and families stay together.
We at Zaporuka continue to help to frontline communities and support the Nikopol Children's Foundation, which receives almost 300 families. These include families with small children, families with people with limited mobility, children with disabilities, and patients with cancer.
In Nikopol, even the most basic necessities are becoming a luxury for many families: diapers, baby food or hygiene products. A store that was open yesterday may be destroyed by shelling today. Young mothers are left to cope with their daily routine. And next to them are people with limited mobility, for whom our help means an opportunity to live with more dignity and security. Without our support, residents would lack the most basic necessities and doctors would lack basic equipment to save lives.
That is why we are opening a fee of UAH 500,000to make the residents feel that they are not alone. Our goal is to provide for the community:
- personal care products and baby food for families and people with limited mobility;
- necessary medical equipment for the outpatient clinic.
For doctors who save people in the frontline community every day, medical equipment is an opportunity to diagnose and provide care in a timely manner. For hundreds of patients who cannot leave the city, it becomes a chance for life.
The Zaporuka Foundation has already 17 years old We are here for those who need it most. And today we cannot leave Nikopol without support.
Join the collection! Every hryvnia is a step towards our common goal and a ray of hope for the city that lives in spite of the war.
