Providing patients with medicines and consumables
Although the state guarantees free access to medicines for patients with cancer and serious illnesses, sometimes treatment requires rare medicines that are not included in the state register. The cost of such medicines is often too high for patients and their families. Therefore, we constantly respond to requests from families whose children are being treated at the National Cancer Institute and the Institute of Neurosurgery in Kyiv, as well as at the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children's Medical Center and the First Medical Association in Lviv. In addition to specific requests for rare medicines, we cover the needs of these hospitals for consumables. Medicines received on time ensure an uninterrupted therapy process and increase the chances of a child's recovery.
During the war, the burden on the medical system increases, so we, as a foundation, respond to requests from other hospitals in Ukraine whenever possible. "Zaporuka remains by our side, no matter what.
