Medicines to save lives
Sometimes it takes a very small thing to save a life: a syringe, suture material, a sterile bag. Sometimes this is exactly what a medical facility lacks to help in a timely and proper manner.
Due to a lack of funding, medical facilities do not always have all the necessary supplies, and procurement is sometimes delayed. In such circumstances, doctors are forced to improvise or wait, and patients are forced to risk complications. For children with serious illnesses, every delay can have serious consequences.
The Zaporuka Foundation systematically provides hospitals with medicines and consumables so that doctors can treat young patients with serious illnesses without delay.
In 2024, more than 10,000 patients in 12 medical facilities across Ukraine have received support in their treatment thanks to our healthcare strengthening projects.
We opened this collection to ensure that doctors continue to provide quality and fast care to patients. Every contribution is important and increases the chances of saving lives.
