Sirens wailing, rocket attacks on residential areas, the "distance of a lifetime" to a shelter... These are our everyday life. Stress for an adult is triple stress for a child. What should be your behavior with children in an emergency?

    • Or that you are going to evacuate because it is very dangerous where you are now. Tell us how you plan to do it. Tell them who is in charge and gives orders. For example, that you need to run somewhere. Emphasize that everyone listens to the person in charge first and only then asks questions.
    • The rules are different in the epicenter of hostilities. Here, any mentally healthy person can be in a state of shock. It is impossible to remain calm and explain something to a child at the same time. It's better to admit that you are too excited to explain.
    • Emphasize the main thing - we are together now, I will not go anywhere from you, I will not leave you and I will explain everything later.
    • And hug your child. If you can't speak, just hug them.
