Do you remember that our large-scale project RELIEF means "relief"? We managed to make life easier for several hundred more families of internally displaced persons!
Families from the Luhansk region temporarily residing in Kyiv, Cherkasy and Poltava oblasts received modern multicookers from Zaporuka.
600 multicookers worth UAH 761,997 were donated to the Lysychansk City Civil-Military Administration and 200 multicookers worth UAH 253,999 to the Territorial Social Service Center in Rubizhne.
The community of the village of Moshchun also received assistance. For all Ukrainians, Moshchun is one of those heroic villages in the Kyiv region where fierce battles for the capital took place. 85% houses were completely destroyed. There is not a single surviving house here. However, the locals want to revive life on their native land, so they continue to return to their destroyed homes from the "comfortable foreign land" despite everything. They are restoring their farms, planting potatoes and flowers. "Nothing can replace what we have. We will rebuild," they say.
To make this reconstruction more or less comfortable, the NGO "My Home" organized the production of modular houses here, where the Motsyk residents themselves work. So they have jobs and a good motivation to get a temporary home for themselves and their fellow villagers as soon as possible. Our foundation wanted to support these people by equipping the newly built houses with the most necessary household appliances: boilers, plumbing, and refrigerators.
RELIEF is a large-scale humanitarian aid project of the Zaporuka Charitable Foundation in partnership with Soleterre Onlus and funded by the Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo. The goal is to systematically strengthen the communities of Kyiv, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions.
