#GivingTuesdaySpark is an international initiative within the global #GivingTuesday movement aimed at promoting charity and creating a culture of good deeds among children and teenagers.
Ukraine officially joined the global movement #GivingTuesdayKids for the first time this year, but the Zaporuka Charitable Foundation (with the support of the Zagoriy Foundation) has been organizing its own #Tokens of Kindness in schools for several years in a row, aimed at engaging young people in good deeds and helping children with cancer.
So this year, Ukrainian schoolchildren will traditionally join the All-Ukrainian Day of Good Deeds, having the opportunity to spend their time in an interesting and useful way: to learn about the types of charity and forms of volunteering; to watch interesting video stories of Ukrainian philanthropists; to tell their school and their city about the #GivingTuesday initiative; to organize their own charity events, concerts, charity fairs, and much more.
After registration, all #GivingTuesdayKids participants will receive detailed instructions and promotional materials (posters, detailed description of the campaign for social media, etc.) by mail.
Schools that participate in the #GivingTuesdayKids initiative will also be able to join the contest and win valuable gifts for their schools.
To participate in the contest you need:
Make a post on your educational institution's page (on social media) about participation in #GivingTuesdayKids. In the post, mention the @GivingTuesday page and use the hashtag #GivingTuesdayKids
Don't have social media? Then place a #GivingTuesdayKids poster on information stands in your city or school and send us a photo.
Describe how it all happened and share vivid photos (registration will be open from November 15 to December 5)
Participants with the most votes can get cool gifts for their school - an interactive whiteboard, CamTouch, projector, and much more!
All other participants receive small awards for their participation.
