Recently, between the charitable foundation "Zaporuka", a humanitarian organization Soleterre Onlus and Lviv City Clinical Children's Hospital of St. Nicholas (First Medical Association of Lviv) was signed memorandum of cooperation.
This document formalizes the work already started and opens up new areas of cooperation to help children in need of complex treatment, evacuation or long-term rehabilitation.
It has already been transferred:
consumables worth UAH 1,000,000,
neurosurgical apparatus BOWA ARC 400 - at a cost UAH 1 500 000.
This is a high-precision equipment that allows you to quickly and safely stop bleeding during complex operations on the brain and spinal cord in children.
The partnership involves:
providing the hospital with modern equipment and medicines;
support for the evacuation of wounded children;
postoperative rehabilitation of young patients;
exchange of experience between Ukrainian and Italian doctors.
As part of the cooperation, Lviv was visited by Roberto Vrambila, head of the clinic's vulnology department Istituti Clinici Zucchi in Monza (Italy). It has more than 50 years of medical experiencecame to support Ukrainian specialists, share knowledge and help assess the clinic's urgent needs.
Roberto is a legendary man. His experience and charisma are inspiring. We will definitely tell you more about him later - in a separate post or, if possible, in an interview.
We are grateful to Soleterre Onlus, St. Nicholas Hospital and everyone who supports Ukrainian medicine even in the most difficult times. This is a true partnership that saves lives.
