Center for children with cancer "Dacha" is more than just temporary housing. This is a place where children undergo treatment together with their parents, where they feel warmth, support and... just live. This is what our project is about #total power lives on - a series of sincere stories from the lives of real "dacha residents".

Dacha through the eyes of Misha

One of the new residents of the Center is Mishais a guy who proves every day that the main victory over the disease is in the mind.
Despite chemotherapy blocks, he:

• walks around Kyiv with her parents,

• spends time in the playroom,

• watching cartoons and playing with other children.

His first impressions of the Dacha Center:

"I have never seen anything like this. This is not a hospital, but a home. There are real friends here, sincere laughter and warmth. You see this only in movies... And now it's my reality."

Why do we tell these stories?

Because There is a real life behind every childwhich should continue even during treatment.
Because we want Every child with cancer had a homewhere she will be supported and feel not like a patient, but just a child.

How to help the "summer residents"?
