It's hard to believe, but we did it!
Neither the pandemic nor the war prevented the first bone marrow transplant for a child at the newly opened The Clinic of Pediatric Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Lviv Children's Oncology Center.
This is the first medical project of its kind in the Western region. It is one of the most ambitious and expensive projects that the foundation "Zaporuka" together with Roman Kizyma, Fondazione Rosa Pristina and Soleterre Onlus he has been implementing for three years.
Availability of transplantation for children without traveling abroad
Save time and money for families
Improving Ukraine's reputation in the medical world
Supporting the Ukrainian healthcare systemeven in times of war.
Five months ago, we were in despair - it seemed that the project, in which so many resources had been invested, simply could not exist in the face of war. But we were wrong.
We don't know how the occupiers are doing with their "everything is going according to plan", but everything happened exactly as we planned back in peaceful 2020The first transplant will take place in 2022.
And we did it! Because our people are fire!
We sincerely thank everyone who has built, supported, taught, donated and believed.
Anything is possible with you.
