In 2019, Dacha became home to 70 families

It is important for everyone to feel safe and to be able to cuddle up to their loved ones. This is especially important for children with cancer. The only one in Ukraine, the Dacha Center, provides such an opportunity, and it becomes a real home for children and their families during the treatment period.

Dacha-2019 - support for 70 families

In 2019, Dacha became home to:

• 70 childrenwhose childhood was stolen by cancer;

• 114 moms and dadswho have forgotten what a restful sleep is;

• 56 grandparents, brothers and sisterswho came from far away to see, hug and say the most important words of love.

It is not just a roof over your head - it is a space where hope comes to life.

A childhood that the disease did not stop

In 2019, Dacha hosted the following events 67 unforgettable holidays - from a pajama party with animators to a football match with Junior Moraes. Moms shone at beauty days with new hairstyles and makeup. And all of these are not just distractions, but full-fledged moments of life that give you the resources to move on.

A dacha is a second home where childhood comes to life

Parents often say: "Our child is being treated in the hospital, but at Dacha he just lives". And it is true. Here, not only childhood comes to life, but also well-being: sometimes even tests improve simply because the child returns "home". Because home, even a temporary one, heals the walls.

The only center of this format in Ukraine

In developed countries, such houses are located next to every hospital. In Ukraine, Dacha is the only place where a family can live free of charge during the entire period of treatment. Over the 11 years of the Center's existence, the following people have found a home here more than a thousand children with cancer and their relatives.
