

On May 30, Kyiv hosted III Congress "Children and War. Modern challenges of psychological assistance and rehabilitation in wartime"organized by the Okhmatdyt National Children's Hospital together with the team of the Zaporuka Charitable Foundation.
The event brought together specialists from Ukraine and abroad - psychologists, doctors, physical therapists who work daily with children who have experienced traumatic events, undergo complex treatment or rehabilitation. The participants discussed modern approaches to psychological assistance to children who have suffered from war, been injured or lost loved ones.
Psychologists of the Zaporuka Foundation, who have been working in hospitals since 2008shared their practical experience of supporting children and families during treatment and rehabilitation. During their speeches, they presented their best practices in working with children who have experience of severe trauma or long-term cancer treatment.
The Congress has become an important platform for sharing knowledge, experience and finding effective solutions in the field of psychosocial support for children in crisis situations.
