Building Dacha #Together with Dad: stories of fatherhood help children with cancer find a home

From June 15 to 21, Ukraine hosted charity flash mob #WithDaddedicated to International Father's Day. Its goal is not only to thank fathers for their care and support, but also to raise funds for construction of the Dacha Center - a home where children with cancer can be close to their families during treatment.

How did the campaign go?

•  Hundreds of people shared warm stories about their fathers in social networks

•  Participants did charitable contributions for the construction of Dacha

•  The posts were shared by well-known opinion leadersAmong them:

  • singer Alyosha

  • frontman of the band Antitela Taras Topolya

  • journalists Iryna Storozhenko and Iryna Zaslavets

  • Arsen Mirzoyan, Tonya Matvienko and others

Every story is a thank you, every contribution is a brick in the foundation of a new safe home for children.

Why is it important?

Children with cancer need not only treatment, but also constant presence of the family. That's why we are building Dacha, a place where mom and dad are always there.
