The Zaporuka Charitable Foundation, in cooperation with its partners, has renovated a part of the reception department at the Center for Children's Medicine as part of a large-scale reconstruction of the branch.
The hospital has now renovated the reception area and the working area of the department, as well as created a room for medical staff. The reception area is the first place where children and their parents meet the hospital.
At the Zaporuka Foundation, we wanted this space to be bright, cozy, and give a sense of calm and security. It is in the reception department that the first impression is formed, which can affect the entire treatment process. Our goal was to create an environment that evokes only positive emotions in children and supports the effective work of doctors," says Natalia Onipko, President of the Zaporuka Foundation.
According to Konstantin Nazarov, head of the admissions department, over the past year, more than 8000 young inpatients and more 4000 outpatients.
This is a large flow of sick children who need quality medical care, attentive medical staff and comfortable conditions. Therefore, renovation of the premises in accordance with modern requirements will reduce stress for patients and their relatives," adds Konstantin Nazarov.
The director of the medical facility, Olena Kozlova, adds that the reconstruction of the reception department is more than just a change in the interior.
It is the creation of a space where patients feel cared for from the first seconds of their stay, and medical staff receive all the necessary resources to fulfill their mission. Everything here should work for the benefit of both patients and doctors. That is why we sincerely thank everyone - the Zaporuka Charitable Foundation, its volunteers and benefactors, and everyone else who is involved in the renovation of the 1TP5 Special Children's Hospital in any way."adds Olena Kozlova, Director of the Children's Medicine Center.
We remind you that this stage of reconstruction was made possible thanks to the contributions of the participants and partners of last year's VI charity bike ride "Pedaling for them to live" with Arsen Mirzoyan. Last year, the event brought together UAH 1 000 000 to renovate this part of the medical facility. We thank our partners who joined the important cause: Lviv City Council, dobro.ua, Kvyatkovsky Family Foundation, Greenville, and ITERATOR.
We remind you that within the of the previous stages of reconstruction The admission department was equipped with two modern isolation wards, a ward for short-term stay of new patients, a nursing station, rooms for proper storage of equipment and supplies, as well as bathrooms, shower and laundry facilities.
