New air conditioning system for the Dacha Center

Comfort and safety are key conditions for the recovery of children with cancer. During the construction of the new Dacha, we are implementing modern technologies that ensure tightness of the buildingreliable windows, doors and insulation. However, this limits access to natural ventilation.

Why is air conditioning critical?

Without fresh air in the room, the risk increases:

• the development of bacteria and fungi;

• decreased quality of sleep and well-being;

• deterioration of the conditions for children with weakened immune systems.

A modern solution - thanks to LG Ukraine

In 2024 LG Ukraine provided free of charge a new air conditioning system for the Dacha Center. She:

• provides constant air circulation;

• maintains a comfortable temperature in all rooms;

• promotes faster recovery of children after chemotherapy.

Who does Dacha help?

The new Dacha is a temporary home for 15 familieswhose children are treated in the Cancer Institute. Here they can live in comfort, sterility and with all the conditions for recovery.
