400 children with cancer received help in 2020

2020 was a challenging year, but it was in the midst of trials that we were able to become stronger and closer to each other. Despite the pandemic, quarantines and fears The Zaporuka Foundation continued to help children with cancer throughout Ukraine.

 Key achievements in 2020:

• 146 children received individual support during treatment

• 47 children underwent rehabilitation after complex surgeries

• 417 children and parents received psychological assistance

• 70 children and 100+ relatives found shelter at the Dacha Center

 Construction of a new "Dacha": 70% is ready

In 2020, we succeeded:

• Complete the installation of communications

• Do plastering and drywall work

• Make a floor screed

• Build a modern boiler room

Start of the bone marrow transplantation unit

Lviv launched the second TCM branch in Ukrainewhich will make transplantation more affordable for children. This is a new page in the development of pediatric oncohematology in Ukraine.
