Treatment and Diagnosis Abroad
For children who cannot receive necessary medical assistance in Ukraine and require treatment or diagnosis abroad, Zaporuka organizes fundraising and helps in organizing the trip.
We also help patients at the National Cancer Institute to undergo an MIBG scan. This method is used to diagnose tumors. Often, it is necessary to make decisions on the next stages of treatment but Ukraine does not have the conditions to introduce such scan.
At least 20 of our beneficiaries undergo a diagnosis or treatment in a foreign clinic each year.
Project news
The evacuation of children with cancer and members of their families abroad continues. Since the beginning of the war, 30 children and 100 relatives have been evacuated for treatment abroad.
We are grateful to all those who participate in the systematic support of children with cancer and together with us contribute to decent treatment and recovery.
